And let us watch out for one another to provoke love and good works, not neglecting to gather together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging each other, and all the more as you see the day approaching. Hebrews 10:24-25
The best way to plug in to our church is by joining a Sunday School group that meets Sundays at 9:45AM. You will become a part of a community, study the Bible together, follow Jesus together, and serve others together. We don’t consider our members fully connected until they are involved with a Sunday School group.
Our desire is that you would grow in your walk with Christ. The way we do this at Taylor Memorial is to encourage you to develop a daily time with God where you pray and read the Bible. Beyond this, we encourage every member to get connected to a Sunday School group on Sunday mornings. We have groups for every age and life stage. Our small groups have four goals:
- Bible Study – helping people understand more about God’s Word and how it applies to their daily lives.
- Community – helping people experience Jesus in one another, helping them connect to the “body,” a loving felllowship, as they do life together.
- Accountability – helping each other as we strive to live a life worthy of the calling we have received. Allowing other people to speak truth into areas of our lives we often overlook.
- Mission - reproducing disciples by being missionaries to our city and around the world. Helping people experience meaning, purpose, and significance by participating in Jesus’ mission in the world by using their gifts to serve in a ministry and share their faith in Christ.
