TMBC Student Ministry is for students in the 6th-12th grades. We want students to GATHER together for worship, GROW in relationships with their Savior and people through the truth of Gods Word, and GO serve people locally, regionally and globally! In our ministry, we want to work alongside parents to develop followers of Christ.
We unapologetically hold to the truth that parents have a God-given role to be the primary disciplers in their children's lives. We want to equip parents to function effectively in this role. So, while we will give time and attention to your students we will also give time and attention to your growth and spiritual development, because it's our responsibility.
Verses for our passion:
Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age. Matthew 28:18-20
“Listen, O Israel! The Lord is our God, the Lord alone. And you must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your strength. And you must commit yourselves wholeheartedly to these commands that I am giving you today. Repeat them again and again to your children. Talk about them when you are at home and when you are on the road, when you are going to bed and when you are getting up. Tie them to your hands and wear them on your forehead as reminders. Write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates. Dt 6:4-8
